where have u been???

Its been long since i've blogged and pretended that the whole world would read!!

So (imaginary) readers! check it out!

Im doing the rest of my wreathed NS (16 more months) as a Staff Assistant (thank god im not 1 of the front line idiots) at the Behavioral Sciences Unit which is a sister Unit of Police Psychology Services Department after i was interviewed by a panel and posted there. It focuses mainly on research from forensic psychology, though it includes a bit of everything else as well, as psychology being psychology tends to be...

i work ard government [ =( ] Psychologists and assist them with any office work that which they may require to conduct their research training, focus group discussions and meetings...even evaluation and data entry work...HEY! at least its not police work!!! besides its good experience for me on how to NOT be a psychologist and instead how to truely be one....

i get to learn more abt psychology and its applications and even dry topics like statistics and research methodology being applied in everyday work....which is actually really interesting....

More importantly i get FULL access to ALL resources in there from stationary to research papers which enables me to complete and and enhance my own research abt NS...is that cool or what??

MOST IMPORTANTLY i get to pray!!! as there is a suraw (prayer room) in the other building and there is a small community that prays punctually and consistently. i always relate to this group as prayers keep my identity safe and minimizes external influences (if you know what i mean...) ALOT...so i can still remain rafi, me!

but i just hate the part where workload never stops piling up and i have to travel long distances to and fro from my hse to camp EVERYDAY!!

i guess i will always be active in psychology WHATEVER i do!!!!!!
